Rainy days and Mondays always get me down

Instead of sick days, I want rain days. I want to be alotted a specific number of days each year that I can take off just because it's too nasty to get outside and too cozy inside to even want to.

I want to stay home in my pajamas, good book in hand, trusty cat beside me while the rain pours outside my window. I want to make a grilled cheese sandwich, warm up tomato soup and put Goldfish crackers in it.

This photo was taken outside my window just before it turned dark and scary.

I think it's a matter of economics. In college I used water now that I am in the "big bucks" I use milk.

butter in your tomato soup? i've never heard of that.

Not heard of butter, but everything is better with butter, right?

I must let you know that I braved the blowing rain to get the soup and cheese. It was the best meal I have had in weeks.

It wasn't too bad. I used a whole grain bread and fat free butter. The soup was a "healthy selection" also. However, I went for it with the cheese.
