This is what my belly will look like if I don't stay away from the candy corn and fun size Snickers!
This is one of three original figures that I display for Halloween. I am completely addicted to their faces and their big bellies. They make me giggle. The artist was inspired by Tim Burton and I think that's incredibly obvious in those spindle-like legs and widened faces.
In other news, I am in a much better mood today thanks to Jack Johnson. I opted to get my morning off to a good start by sliding him in the CD player. I had to be at work early (yet again), but everything's OK when you have banana pancakes with Jack.
Tomorrow I am only working half-a-day and I have big plans to spend the rest of the day with my beloved, Cynical. We are going to shop until we either run out of money or steam (it shouldn't take long for either). Wish me luck as I have high hopes for finding cool shoes, some new music and maybe a book or two. Rumor has it that we can expect cooler temperatures and I noticed the dogwoods fading to red this week, so fall is sneaking in.
On another front, I finally finished my book, The Song Reader, and am off to start a new read. Seems that I can't find the time for much produtive reading and it is taking me forever to finish one and start another. I am hoping that winter will remedy this situation. Seems whenever I sit down with a book in hand, I realize that I need to do this, that or the other and never get back to it. Distractions. Distractions.
Wow, this was a boring post. Too little sleep. Too much to do. All adds up to a pathetic post.

I absolutely love the Halloween Trick or Treater! Is it paper mache'? I'd love to see the other two also if you get a chance to post them.
I have three Nightmare Before Christmas figures that I display in my apartment on Halloween, but the rest of the year they're in my studio on the top of a shelf where I can see them. I can't put them out of sight.
I will try to find some shots of the other ones. I am glad you liked him. He's so cute.
Actually I think he is resin, pretty heavy.
I am intrigued by Tim Burton and wanting to see The Corpse Bride.
