Next!

So, here's the very first solo-completed work. (That is that I have completed all alone without Needlefingers by my side.) Happy that my stitches seem consistent. Happy that I wrapped it up appropriately. Unhappy that the cast-off is tighter than the other end, but not sure what to do about it. Cynical assures me that it is a masterpiece and for now I am going to take the compliment with grace. Tomorrow I obsess over the tightness of that last row.

Onto a scarf for my mother, with hopes that Needlefingers will rescue me from endless scarves. Good news, experimenting with larger needles. Plans to practice yarn-overs on the plane.

Great work. I looks like knitting to me. I think you are doing well in your new found hobby. No skills.....I see knitting skills.

Looks like you've got the whole knitting thing down. Good for you. You picked up on that really quickly. It would definately take me weeks to do that.

Why thank you for all of the compliments. (Blush. Blush.) I am, however, tired of scarves and ready for a new challenge.
