Wanna know how to be the most attractive to your beloved? Strap on a heart monitor and glue four probes to your abdomen. Let me tell you in one word: sexy! Also, nothing like washing your hair in the bathtub and trying to avoid getting the electronics hanging around your neck wet. I look like a librarian today in my effort to disguise the device. Oh, well, I have taken to wearing warm socks and knitting, so it's only fitting. (Just teasing, knitters, just teasing.)
So, today I am feeling well, feeling frustrated and feeling the need to yarn shop. Good thing we are going to do something about the latter. I have secured clearance for driving from the doctor and from Cynical, so I am set for launch.
On another note, the leaves have finally started changing here. Our front yard is dusted with bright yellow ones and our little tree out front is starting to change to a magnificent red. I am reminded each morning of how glorious fall is. I am grateful for the changing leaves. I am happy to know that soon we will be tucked cozy in the house, settled in for a long winter's nap. I am excited to know that in a few weeks I will be teasing a beautiful baby niece. I am anticpating sitting around a table with my crazy family. I am grateful.
Oh, and I am grateful for yarn, knitting needles and maybe being saved from scarf hell.
I took the photo above in Kansas City. (I am sure our Kansas City buddy will know it right off.) I have been feeling a bit like a lion lately growling about this health stuff. But now I feel more like a lamb. A lamb that wants to rip this sticky tape off right now.

What's going on? I leave town for a few days and you're falling apart...are you ok? I hope you're taking it easy.
All is well. Just going through a few tests. I think it was just one of those freak things that happens, of course, to freaky people.
