Object lessons

OK, so below is my first finished object on my own that wasn't a scarf for someone else and involved an opening or something quirky outside of stockinette and garter stitches.

Windy City Scarf
(aka Keyhole Scarf)
Bazic Wool Yarn Brown and Aqua
Pattern from: Stitch n' Bitch

Great looking scarf! Brown/aqua and brown/pink are my favorite combos right now.

I am loving the colors. I was very close to using the pink, Jennifer nearly had me talked into it, but I can always make another, right?

Hope the high winds passed you by. We were VERY lucky, just a lot of wind, rain, and a few thunderbursts. I stayed up until midnight to watch the TV weather. (I have this fear my daughter in her tiny home will be blown away if I'm not up to tell her to run to her brother's house!)

Nicole, why thank you. I have a LOT to learn, but it's fun both learning and creating. You should try it.

Cate, glad you guys are safe and sound. We had some warnings here and we were crammed into internal rooms, but all is safe and sound. Hope you are the same.
