In an effort to spice up my scarf-making using the only skills I have thus far, I did a little basket weave at the end of this one and plan to do it at the other end too. Photo doesn't do it justice. It's a nice applesque green.

I have always wanted to learn how to knit, but never have. Is it hard to learn?

It's all about the teacher! I have had the best, most patient of instructors. I think too, though, that I'd like to have a knitting group to share it with, kinda to swap stories. I bet Kansas City has a Stitch and Bitch group. Might be a start!
