So, I had these big plans to hibernate at home during my vacation. Big plans to wear my pajamas all day long and eat cookies right out of the tin. My plans were foiled, but in a good way. Who would have thought I'd be so, well, let's say "social" during my big break.
My brother, his girlfriend and my nephew are in for a visit. She had requested that we go for lunch at a tea room and to visit a yarn shoppe or two. Who am I to argue. So, this morning I backed Bus Ragged down the driveway and began another trek. Mom, the Stitcher and I started with a stop at our local yarn shop where I learned how to make a button hole and found cool yarn for the Voodoo Wristlets.
After driving literally over the river and through the woods, we finally found the tea room where I chowed on vegetarian delights. Then another stop at another yarn shoppe and then a visit to Starbucks. Yes, two days in a row: two mint mochas in as many days. Can life get any better than this?
Yarn shoppes. Vegetarian delights. Mochas. Mochas. Mochas. The only thing that could make this thing better would be more macaroons.
Just a shot of a little sun catcher hanging in the window of my bedroom. A reminder of what my focus should be.

What a nice vacation so far. I hope all your days are so good!
Mmmmm Starbucks. Peppermint Mocha. Mmmmmm.
I have a small tile hanging by my sink that says "harmony". Sometimes people think I'm odd for having it. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.
How nice that you have like-minded buddies to hang with during your break. It's good to mix up all that nothing with some nothing with friends. That's what I think anyway.
I am tellin' you, mochas of any sort are to die for. Add some peppermint and I am in heaven. We are getting a Starbucks (opening in January) and I wonder if that will mean the allure won't be as intense. I dunno.
Yep, I am a vegetarian that eats fish. However, I am rethinking the whole thing.
I think any reminder that makes you pause, rethink what you are doing or your focus is definitely worth it. So, harmony on!
