It's wrong. . . all wrong

Cynical and I sat gazing at the television tonight, just as we do most evenings, when we saw a new commercial for Cingular, you know the one that spoofs the Waltons to highlight their new services.

Had you been a fly on the wall, this is what you'd have heard:

Ragged (a die-hard Waltons fan, wishing each and every Christmas for Big Chief tablets of her own): That's wrong, all wrong.

Cynical (Grimacing): It's blasphemy.

It may be sacreligious, but I love that commercial! And I was raised on the Walton's. My sister was maned after one of the girls. My mom has the Walton's Christmas album! We are a family obsessed.

I so wanted to live on Walton's Mountain. I wanted to be a Walton, or an Ingalls.

Can we call you Half Pint?

I would love that. It was my childhood dream for my dad to call me that, but he never did, I think he thought it was a booze reference.
