Next week dear Cynical and I are departing for Orlando, Florida. Fun for him and work for me.
I don't want to go.
I know that's awful, being ungrateful for a trip where I incur very little expense and features a warmer climate. Here's the thing: I don't want to sport sandals and capris. I don't want to uncover these winter white arms. I don't want to. I don't want to bare these toes in bad need of a pedicure and I certainly don't want to show any skin. I dread it.
PS: I finished making the SouleMama hat. I broke down and made it in Manos del Uruguay and I love it. So glad I chose to reknit it. You can visit it on the Finished Projects page.

Tell you what, you stay here and potty train puppies and chase toddlers in the cold and I'll drag my pasty self to Florida!
when I grow up, I want to knit just like you! : .)
love the varigated colors. I'm sure I looked at that yarn many times, but couldn't decide what to make with it...oh, yeah, another scarf. that's why I didn't buy it...seemed such a waste of such beautiful yarn.
try to have fun in FL!
Farm Wife, I would love to send you in my place. UGH. I dread it.
Phinner, trust me, you want to knit much, much better than me. I have a lotta learnin' left to do. Thanks for the kudos!
I love the hat! And the pink one just before it... but then I'm getting a tad girly in my old age.
