Today is hectic and stressful and won't soon be over. However, as a bit of peace in my day, I am posting this photograph taken while hiking over the weekend. I know that many gardeners and yard enthusiasts hate this "weed", but I still love the fact that you can blow these seeds and send them off to start a new life. They look so very dainty, but are so very strong and persistent.

Baby Girl calls them wishes. I love standing at the bus stop with her and blowing them into the pasture. My FIL's front field looks like it's snowed, it's so full of "wishes."
Lovely! Great depth of field too!!!
As I did when I was a little girl, I still count on my wishes coming true if I blow all the seeds off the stem.
Yin and I sat in the yard blowing these the other day. she was really amused.
It was funny to see her little face as the blew apart.
