Bright, bright, sunshiney. . . night

Our neighbors apparently are afraid of the dark, as they left their back porchlight, a bare 3,000-watt bulb, on all night last night shining into our bedroom window.

Remember the scene in Christmas Vacation when Julia Louis-Dreyfus is blinded by the holiday lights of her neighbors, the Griswalds? Now you get the picture.

Forgive me as I turn out the lights, lay my head on my desk and snooze for a few. My neighbors kept me up with their spotlight.

We have the spotlight directed right into our kitchen window, so when you walk from the living room toward the back of the house, you get hit with the million candlewatt beam.

And people wonder why we want to move.

That is nothing that a pellet gun with a scope cant fix. Also helps other unwanteds out of your yard and has been known to cure a barking dog here and there.

You're never gonna believe this, but my first thought when the light stayed on all night was investing in a BB gun.
