Wishing we could turn back time

Wishing it was still the weekend. So, here are a few photos to take me back, if only for a few minutes.Officially obsessed: knitting in the car. Above you see my a yoga mat bag in the making. A gift for my mother courtesy of a pattern in Stitch N Bitch Nation.

Shot similar to one published by Pilot. Watching this guy patiently dip candles much the way they did truly during the settling of the United States was fascinating.

Watching the spinners was so very soothing. I am still completely enthralled with the entire process and so pleased that people like Needlefingers take such care to create beautiful yarn. She will remind you that this is not a quaint rendition of an olden chore, but a hobby (or way of life) that is alive and well today, with artists across the country creating and spinning.

Needefingers and Pilot have heightened our interest in making coffee again. I suspect ours will be nothing as strong as the "cowboy coffee" brewing in the pot above.
