Working on the weekend

This weekend, as I mentioned previously, has been full. It's also been productive. We rarely make much headway on our infamous "to do" list, but this time, we can boast that we scratched a few things off.

We began our work day by painting the foundation along the back of our house. You see, we recently removed a shrub to learn that the previous owners were not, shall we say, "finishers". They had failed to paint the foundation behind said shrub/bush. As a result, we added another item on the list. Today we drug out the paint, rollers and brushes. We had to repaint the entire area as it would have been impossible to match it up. Cynical rolled and I trimmed. You'd think that coming from a long line of painters, I'd be more accomplished. You thought wrong. I would never make any money as a professional painter. I am much too slow.

In addition, last night I wrapped another spiral rib bag and this morning I finished my second candy corn socks.

Now I think I will put my feet up, relax and maybe. . .

Love the candy corn socks, and the toe curls suit them!

Sounds like you've had a lovely, peaceful weekend, and gotten so much done!

Have you been house-hunting for another one yet?

I just got back from Zann's blog and she put me on to Farm Wife's Blog disappearing. It's GONE! All that's there is the background. Do you know what happened?
