A very hectic, long and trying week has come to an end. And it ended with a bang. . . literally. Buckets of rain, a sky full of lightning and 70-mph winds, a flooded venue, a car stranded in six inches of water and subsequently a late night at work were not exactly how I planned to celebrate the end of said week.
However, hopefully that's all behind me now and we can get on with the weekend! Big plans for a shopping trip today and whereas I think that's a good thing, I also have my doubts. I need clothes. I know everyone says that and if you saw my closet, you would disagree, but I am telling you, I have nothing to wear to work. After 5 p.m., this girl is set, but I got no daytime attire.
Once again I am throwing myself to the wolves that call themselves clothing designers. All I ask of them is to give me an option other than old woman or slutty teen.
If all else fails, I am buying shoes and calling it a day.
(I got a marvelous rain-soaked package from the bestest secret pal yesterday. And as soon as I can get some good natural light this morning, I am going to snap a photo of it and make you all green. . . or red. . . with envy.)

Try Talbots or Ann Taylor..they're both having huge (like 70%) off sales these days.
Happy shopping!! And I hope stops raining exactly when you leave your car till you get in the shop and then again when you go back to your car.
