I think I mentioned recently that there has been a phrase that's been running through my head repeatedly whenever I speak to a particular family member of mine.
Last night we had a conversation much like this:
Said Family Member: Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me and then I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I. I did this. I did that. I did this again. I did that again. I saw this person. I went to this place. I ate this for lunch. I watched this on television. I am the greatest. I am the best. I am the most wonderful.
Ragged: Sounds like you have had a full day. It's been busy around here, I. . .
Said Family Member: Anyway. . . I gotta go, I need to get ready for bed.

I wanna talk about me. Wanna talk about I. Wanna talk about number one. Oh my me my. What I think, what I like, what I see... Ocassionaly I wanna talk about ME!
Maybe you should casually hum that song.
I feel bad for you. I have a friend like this and it drives me crazy!
Ugh, I'm so sorry.I think Brando may be on to something here. Perhaps one of your famous mixed CDs is in order. Only make all the songs about the perils of being self involved/rude/nasty.
Have you been communicating with my X-SIL??? haha!
Egocentrisim at its finest!
You get points for your patience. Good thing this person has you to talk to b/c I'm guessing there aren't many others who will listen.
