Presenting to you to my completed Cherry Tree Hill Merino Wool socks. I love these socks more than any I have made thus far. I suspect that is because I used a smaller needle, made them much tighter and. . . the yarn was incredible to work with. I bought the yarn at Stitches in Chicago and immediately started knitting it in the hotel after using my new handy winder.
I am calling these "Baby Greens", but never fear, they are not contaminated with e. coli.
PS: I have decided to become part of Socktoberfest. I figured it was a natural fit since you know, I love October and well, seems I can't quit making socks. I have set a little goal for myself as a result. I hope to do some sort of a stitch patterned sock. Right now I am working on a lace top version pattern that I got at my local yarn shoppe, but it's slow going. So, if you have any other thoughts on an easy-to-remember pattern, they are certainly welcomed. I have been using the Magic Loop Method.

Pretty socks! Do you know where Cate has gone? My link doesn't work anymore.
You know, mine doesn't either. I e-mailed her to find out where she has gone, but no word yet.
ooooh, 7-up soxs!!! love 'em! will you be keeping these for yourself?
you go! Socktoberfest! how cool is that? I like the idea of a charity project coming out of this.
Beautiful, simply beautiful!!
I was wondering about Cate, too.
