I'll never get put back together

I considered titling this post "Running on Empty", but I am through with whining about this incredibly hectic and fast-paced week. By Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. the busiest work week of the year will be over for me and I will be sitting in a chair, knitting in hand, having all my gray washed away.

In the meantime:

First visit by plumber: $56

Second visit by plumber: $129

Being able to flush without concern: Priceless

*Ended up being a combination of the mechanisms in the back of the fixture (namely our commode) and tree roots. The good news is the tree roots are not in our line, but in the main one. The bad news is that I know far too much about the "lead man" that worked on our plumbing. Seems he just broke up with the "mother of his children", had a large cast-iron sink fall on his mouth and break off several of his teeth. He's very self conscious, you know, being single and all. Hopes to become a master plumber next year and maybe meet someone new. I also noticed that his tongue was studded. If you are interested, I can maybe hook you up.

Just a shot of my beautiful Cherry Tree Hill yarns I purchased while sleep walking Saturday.
