This morning on my way into work, I was listening to the "Masculine & Instrumental" Christmas mix I scored in a trade with our dear Madretz. I have to admit though that I was too busy fretting to enjoy the drive on this warm day or even the music.
I was moving along when I slowed at a four-way stop. As I waited my turn I watched as two students handed the crossing guard a big wrapped package. As she opened the present, I saw her eyes light up and her face break into laughter. I saw the kids bubble with pride. And I smiled.
PS: Another good report on Sammy this morning. I am not holding my breath, but I am secretly hoping. His temperature dropped some, not a good sign, but he used his litter box and he "perked up" today.
