It seems that Sammy has taken a turn for the worse. His temperature is dropping and they fear kidney damage; the kind of damage they don't expect him to recover from. I fear the worst. I am praying for the best. More tests and we'll have to make a decision this afternoon. A "decision", that sounds so easy and cold. It's not.
As I type this I am having to make myself breathe. When do you lose the capacity to remember to breathe.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I'm sure that whatever decisions you make will be the very best thing for your little Sammy. It's a hard thing dealing with the pain of a little creature you love so dearly. My thoughts are with you.

We went through a similar excrusiating ordeal last Christmas. Our hearts and prayers go to your sick loved one and the rest of the family. What ever you do, it will be for the best.
