"A Wedding In December" was actually more enjoyable than "Light On Snow" - which I think was written first. To me, I enjoyed Anita Shreve's "The Pilot's Wife" and "Strange Fits of Passion" so much - that some of her other stuff has just not quite done it for me.... ("Strange Fits of Passion" was just incredible...).
I have been wanting to get back to reading more and thanks to your list I have a few more books for my list.
LOL, I'm doing my list right now and put "pride and prejudice" as my deserted island book, too.
My niece was reading The Glass Castle when we were in Hawaii. It's on my pile to read.
