Yarn: Malabrigo Yarn Kettle Dyed Pure Merino Wool Color: China 1
Started: I don't recall
Yarn: Cascade 128 Chunky (6 skeins) in Ruby 9404
Started: January 23, 2008
Modifications/Notes: Found lots of errors in the pattern, which resulted in a little ripping. Added some length which meant I had to recalculate slightly for the buttons.
Pattern from: Knit & Tonic
Completed: February 8

Yarn: Noro Kureyon Color 231
Needles: #8 Addi 32-inch circulars (Magic Loop Method)
First Mitten (Started &) Completed: February 16, 2008
Modifications/Notes: I made my a tad longer than EZ calls for so they would tuck neatly in the sleeves of my coat. I also chose to use her “thumb trick” instead of cutting the yarn… cutting my knitted projects still doesn’t feel natural.
Pattern from: Ann Budd's The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns
Needles: #8 Addi 32-inch circulars (Magic Loop Method)
Modifications/Notes: A thank you gift for a friend who just got a new gray coat and also helped me with my taxes this year. Hat began to feel a bit deep, so I stepped up the decreases to create a puckered look. Still very soft and kinda cute. Here's hoping she likes it.
