You make a list. You carve out time to attack said list. You take it point by point. (or as Ann Lamott would say, "bird by bird"). And it's amazing what a difference it made.
And that sums up my night. Overwhelmed with all that lay ahead at the house, in my life in general and at work, I dug in my heels, hit the ground running, made a list and worked for over 4 hours last night to make a dent. My morning was dedicated to the errands created as a result.
The house is clean; the donated items ready to go; magazines recycled; perscriptions filled; clothes and hangers dropped off at the cleaners; car full of stuff to be delivered, returned or disposed of.
Now if I could just lose 35 pounds, spread the message of "be nice, it's not that hard" and fly my brothers in for the weekend. . .

I'm impressed. Well done, Miss Ragged.
Much better than drinking heavily. ;)
I'm so very proud of you! And happy for you. It's so easy to become overwhelmed...I'm glad you're crawling out from underneath it all.
Awesome!! You are one hard working gal!
