When I got up this morning, I was ready to greet the weekend with open arms. I was ready to hug it, kiss it and call it mine.
And so when my work day came to a close, I headed out as if the last bell between me and summer vacation had rung. And immediately I began to slow my pace. I found myself without a schedule or a game plan. I was entering the world of the weekend.
While Cynical was away at one of his multiple jobs this afternoon, I camped on the front steps with my knitting. I was quickly interupted by our friendly outdoor cat, Freddy, seeking attention and a lap in which to snuggle. I snapped a picture as we both enjoyed the warm sun and cool breeze.
