After lunch today I had to go to the dentist. This is the same dentist that giggles incessantly and it makes me very self conscious. It's as if he's looking at a tattoo on the inside of my mouth (put there by my previous dentist (God rest his soul) without me knowing as I was probably under anesthesia and drooling onto that paper towel clipped around my neck) that says, "I love bacon." (Instead of a traditional tat ribbon across the heart, there's a strip of bacon. I do have an active imagination.)
So I dutifully brushed my teeth before I went, hoping praise would be poured over me for my incredible dental hygeine skills and maybe I'd get a free pink toothbrush out of it.
Instead I got, "You have great tissue. When you're 75 I will be able to stretch those gums all over the place."

that totally should go on the weirdest compliments list. My doctor once told me I had "beautiful tonsils". The moral of all this is, those who have gone to medical school are just weird sometimes and find beauty and humor in the oddest things ;)
I so badly want to draw the bacon tattoo now.
Yuri, Yin, and I went to the dentist too. Can I say that while I love my dentist I hate going. Yin did great. She let the dentist look in her mouth and was such a big girl. She did not have an appointment, but we are trying to get her ready for it all.
Hilarious! Speechless, but hilarious! Sounds like he's got quite an imagination!
Have you ever seen the movie Dr. Giggles? Then again, maybe you should't watch it....8-o
