went to see Sweeney Todd last week. . . spent most of the time obsessed with the fact that the Sweeney himself wore knitted fingerless gloves, as did Johanna's love interest. I spent the remainder of the movie mesmerized by the consistency and color of the blood that ran from the necks of his victims.

btw - I think the burd may be a phobe? saw it on my lunchtime walk yesterday and I HAD MY CAMERA WITH for once!!! : .) I wish it was in better focus tho'. the tree trunk looks awfully good! hee!

I am pea green with envy. I have been dying to see Mr. Todd ever since I read Mr.Depp & Mr. Burton were colaborating again. **Sigh**

I've been "dying" to see it, but I don't know when I'll get to. I taped the HBO preview, so I got enough to "whet my appetite."
Actually, all kidding aside, I didn't know if I would like it with all the blood gushing out everywhere, but I've gotta see those fingerless gloves.

Somebody tell Farmwife that Sweeny Todd must be seen in the theater! Skip breakfast for a week to pay for it if you have to! I think it'll be good on DVD, but so much better in person. I'm not a blood and guts fan but I loved the blood in this one! It was so...red and liquid. I have to admit I did not know it was based on a musical. I was so excited when Juhhny Depp started singing. Fun!
