Life is good. . . in so many ways. Let me list a few.
-The storms were horrific in most of the midwest Tuesday night. We came out unscathed, safe, sound and knowing our loved ones were the same. (However, those in Cynical's home county weren't as fortunate, many lost their homes, three lots their lives. Please keep them in your prayers.)
-My camera was delivered on the very same day that my Valentine package from Loopy Ewe arrived containing lots and lots and lots and lots of goodies. You see, Cynical let me choose my Valentine's gift this year, giving me a spending limit and encouraging me to shop at the Loopy Ewe so I'd be one step closer (five orders required) to being a full-fledge Loopy Groupie; and we all know how much I want to belong.
Getting both packages on one day was nearly more than I could handle. Two pieces of verra verra good mail in one day? I couldn't stand it. I promise photos soon, give me a bit to explore the camera.
-Yesterday I went to Target to pick up the new Lenny Kravitz CD. You know they have that dealio where when CDs are first released they offer them for around 10 bucks. . . . well, I'm a sucker for that kinda discount and Lenny. When I got there I discovered the Jack Johnson CD was on sale as well. I snagged them both and have had a smile on my face ever since. I have all of Lenny's stuff and never even hesitate when something new comes out, I pick it up asap. He's among a few artists that I do that with: Counting Crows, Cowboy Junkies, Sarah McLachlan, Patty Griffin. . . are there any that you buy, no questions asked?
-Last night, Kissed Knitter invited me over for dinner and a little knitting. What a wonderful friend I have in her. Anyone that will cook for you, listen to your whining and provide advice on planter's warts has to be of good stock. We knitted, we talked, we laughed. It was a wonderful night.
-This morning when I was getting ready, I flushed the commode and all hell broke loose. Plumbing problem yet again. . . Cynical ran to my rescue and a little plunging and cursing later the problem was under control. Darned old combined (storm and waste) sewers. Not a very happy story, eh? But it got better when I stood over the wet towels, knowing I didn't have time to deal with it before work and not wanting to face it when I got home, and he said, "When I get home today I'll wash those towels and mop in here." He does love me, doesn't he?

I just read a review of the new Lenny c.d. and wanted to talk to someone who had listened. Is it wonderful? I'm with you on Counting Crows. Tori Amos is at the top of my list.
I checked out the Loopy Groupie...what a deal! They sound like an awesome company, like they have so much fun doing business.
Sorry about the toilet, does not sound like fun. Did u document it with your new camera? :p ... just teasing!
Disappointed I didn't see and pic from the new camera. Boy that Cynical is a hell of a guy.
