Saturday's alright by me

My Saturday has been a busy one and I must admit that I am glad to have a few minutes to sit for a bit. My morning and afternoon were hurried as I ventured out for a meet-up with Cynical's family, a baby shower, chores and laundry. I'm taking a breather now, watching an episode of "Law and Order: SVU". (I know this surprises you.)

Last night was a tad exciting, we ordered a new camera. I've been craving one for a while, working diligently to convince Cynical that it was more than a "want", that we "needed" a new one. It seems that I wore him down and once again he gave into my feminine charms.

Above is a shot of Ike I took today. He's a tad difficult to photograph as he tends to glow. I suspect that anyone taking a photograph of me has the same problem. . . being as Ike apparently has the same complexion as his "mother". Took his temp today. . . thus far it's "normal", the efforts we went through to get a reading were anything but "normal".
