About 4:37 a.m. this morning the cats shot out of bed, our house shook and everything rattled, as an estimated 5.2 magnitude earthquake rumbled through lasting approximately 45 seconds. (Enough time to shake us outta bed.)
Hoping everyone is safe and sound; we understand the center of the quake was in Illinois. We're set for aftershocks.

First time I've been on the computer in what seems like forever, but I heard the news this morning and wanted to check to see if you felt the shake rattle and roll this morning.
Glad to hear all are well!
Glad you guys are okay. It shook the bugger out of me and the kids. Rudy was working.
Glad y'all are ok. Sorry you had to get up so early! Especially THAT way.
WHAT THE HECK!?? I'm I reading the right blog? I never think Earthquakes and Kentucky (or Illinois for that matter!). You all ok?
