Cameras for you, cameras for me

Busy, busy weekend; one which was fruitful, fun and entertaining.

We began our Friday dining with friends/family and visiting a bit. Saturday was spent gallavanting with my dear friend, Queen of Cool. Yarn pick-ups, bookstores, yummy lunch, and the purchase of a new camera are the highlights of the day. Above you can see my new toy. As you may recall, I purchased a camera earlier this year and love it; however, I had been wanting a small camera I could tuck into my pocket or purse. This one will do the trick. I had been socking away my birthday cash and gift cards to get this and all of the saving was worth it.

I wrapped up my Saturday at the coffee shop yet again, visiting with my aunt and uncle (aka godparents) and folks.

Today I took my godparents to pick out a camera for their upcoming Mediterranean cruise later this year. My folks, who will be going to Ireland in August, were also in need of a digital camera, so back to Best Buy we went, my third trip there within two days. Bring on the purchase points!

My afternoon has been spent wrappping things up in preparation for the week. As a matter of fact, I have pork chops marinating in my own special concoction, strawberries cut waiting to top Angel Food cake and asparagus prepped for the grill. I can't cook, but I can certainly "prepare".

Rudy got me a great little pocket camera for Mothers day. It has been awesome having a little camera to pull out at any time.

Like when we were in the Wal-mart parking lot two days later and someone hit our van.

I got a little Nikon.

I have to start reading more carefully. I could have sworn you were putting asparagus on top of your angel food cake. Ugh! :)

I just ordered a new little camera today! Mine's ancient and instead of buying a wide lens for Michael's camera we bought me a little point and shoot that has wide angle setting.

Angel food cake and strawberries are the perfect summer dessert!

Darn it, too bad it's too late for me to come over for dinner...it all sounds so delicious!
