I really enjoyed that movie! I thought Emile Hirsch did a fantastic job, and the story was very moving. However, it was Hollywood telling a story they couldn't possibly know the details of. Its sort of the like the moving end of A Perfect Storm, where George Clooney goes down with the boat, and there's some possibility that Marky Mark (Wahlberg) is still in the ocean, floating to his true love. We couldn't possibly know the details of the end of these people's lives. But, like I said, the story was great. The cinematography was beautiful. And I actually want to see the movie again.

I saw it. It's worth watching. It did seem like it was a little long, but it's an interesting story.

I just couldn't bring myself to see it. I read the book and it's one of my favorites. The story is so tragis, yet fascinating at the same time. I just didn't want the movie to ruin my theory of who he was...
