Sunday and Monday. . . they flew by

The problem with vacations is that they speed by much faster than a day at the office. However, I wouldn't trade my vacay for a day in the office.
When I left you last, we were relaxing at the inn, we wrapped up Sunday night with a stop at a college sports bar, Ebbett's Field and tucked ourselves into bed.
Our Monday proved to be a lazy; as a matter of fact while the boys were napping, Needlefingers and I ventured out to She's Crafty. Such a great crafts shoppe, had so much more than yarn and I loved that it felt like an operating craft studio with space for classes. Cool Sublime Stitching and Amy Butler patterns/fabrics. Picked up some goodies, but I'll share those later. The owner was wonderful and I enjoyed meeting her little girls and listening to them talk "knit".
After the little escapade, we headed downtown for a little Cinco de Mayo celebration of our own, eating at a local place, Maria's. A margarita and plate of food later and we hit the street to explore a bit. Some coffee at the chic Mudouse Coffee and we headed back to the inn where we sat outside enjoying the big porch and beautiful weather.
Today we're off to Laura Ingall Wilder's Mansfield home. . . . don't be jealous.

She's Crafty shoppe and finds.
Maria's Mexican eatery and a little Cinco de Mayo margarita.
Mudhouse Coffee. . . . Mmmmmmm.
The inn at night.
My new favorite space in the eave of our room, complete with a window to peer out, pillows, my MP3 player and journal. I'm in heaven.

I wish I had known that you were going to be in my neck of the woods. If I had known I could have taken a 1/2 day to come meet you.

It's a beautiful Inn! I can see why it's a favorite place.
I loved Little House on the Praire! I never read the books...you know that reading problem I have? Despite that, I really am jealous!

That is a *cute* little inn. I really want to stay somewhere like that one day.
