I have a bit of a pattern going in my sock knitting. I do a pair involving some sort of a stitch pattern and then I do a plain stockinette pair. This rotation does several things for me. First of all (when using some sort of stitch pattern) it provides some variety, some fun and a few challenges; and whenever I am simply knitting round and round, it gives me a chance to use up some of my self-patterning yarns (of which I have plenty) and it's a bit mindless, good for times whenI don't want to concentrate.

I fell in love with this Online yarn whenever I saw a sample knitted out of it in a yarn shoppe. I just liked the color combination. Fun socks to warm my feet this winter.

And then there are socklettes. I still can't seem to stop making them. Whenever I gave away the red variegated ones, I knew I had to knit myself a pair to replace them. And here's what came of that second ball of Cascade Fixation I got, not realizing that it would only take one to make a pair of socklettes. Stash knitting or simply my greed for socklettes? You decide.
