I have a bit of a pattern going in my sock knitting. I do a pair involving some sort of a stitch pattern and then I do a plain stockinette pair. This rotation does several things for me. First of all (when using some sort of stitch pattern) it provides some variety, some fun and a few challenges; and whenever I am simply knitting round and round, it gives me a chance to use up some of my self-patterning yarns (of which I have plenty) and it's a bit mindless, good for times whenI don't want to concentrate.
I fell in love with this Online yarn whenever I saw a sample knitted out of it in a yarn shoppe. I just liked the color combination. Fun socks to warm my feet this winter.
Tomato Socks 2.0
Pattern: Found it online somewhere, but kinda developed it on my own. I cast on 40 stitches and went from there.

I have taken to naming my stockinette versions after 80s movies and songs.
