Here a dishcloth, there a dishcloth, everywhere a dishcloth

I sometimes have trouble finding dishcloth cotton in colors that I actually like. However, in a recent visit to a chain craft store, I found a few that turn my crank. So, I cranked out three more sets, getting a little closer to having enough for our house blessing party, which has yet to be scheduled. I have to admit these are incredibly satisfying knits: most take about one night to knit, they are so utilitarian and I get to play with neat stitches on a small scale. Oh, and I knit little Tribbles to go along with them.

Here's the information for those knitters among you:

I used size 7 straights on all three cloths; all use Lilly Sugar 'n Cream cotton.

Top photo:
Colorway: Guacamole (how could I not love it)
Pattern: My own, just knitted four rows, gave it a garter edge of about 4 stitches and stockinetted the rest.

Middle photo:
Colorway: Desert Rising
Pattern: Chinese Waves Dishcloth

Bottom photo:
Colorway: Tubleweed (This name does NOT fit the colorway)
Pattern: Tiny Fern Stitch Dishcloth

Also in the works:
Socks using some Austermann Step (with jojoba and aloe) yarn that was gifted to me by Kissed Knitter some time back. Lovely colors and so wonderful to knit with.

A puffed sleeved cardigan from Fitted Knits that is starting to seem too big, but I am just not sure; so it's on the backburner.

And some cute Tickled Pink socks using some Shibui in a colorway called Peony.

There! How's that for some boring knitting news?

Ooh I like the green one. Maybe I'll learn how to knit just to make dishcloths. There's a new store around here offering classes...

I just wanted to let you know that I was at the craft store yesterday, doing my usual scrapbooking broweing, and wandered to the yarn isle. very tempted to start up again. I almost broke out my needles last night (while watching the olympics!) to finish a complicatedforme scarf that hasn't been touched in 2+ years. I need to find the pattern for it tho. Those Sugar and Cream yarns are so always so yummy looking.
