Cowls that don't moo (Look away, Phin)

Starting from the top:

Luxe Cowl
A cowl pattern from a book co-written by Tracy Ullman. Yep, that Tracy Ullman. Used an alpaca yarn from Knitpicks (Decadence). Yummy and oh, so warm. It's over 90 degrees today, so I wasn't willling to wear it for too many more shots. It's a gift knit and stash buster. I'm hoping cowls are the new black.

Elisa's Nesting Tote
Got this pattern from Purl Bee and it was my first chance to do an applied I-cord (by now the non-knitters of you are distracted by a commercial promoting Ped Eggs). Used a very nice yarn (Araucania Pomaire.) Used smaller needles as I didn't want it to stretch and made the handles shorter for the same reason.

Dishcloths
Just a few quick dishcloths knitted up for our impending house blessing party (date has been set, invitations are ready.)

Dashing Mitts for Phin
Part of a little crafty trade with Phin. Ummm, I received her part of the trade a while back, and I need to share it with you. Her wonderful work rocks. These mitts are not an even trade, I owe her big. She trumps me every time when it comes to exchanges. I hope she's not disappointed about not getting them sooner, but something tells me she won't be wearing wool, handknitted fingerless mitts for a few more weeks (or months.) The color is waaaaaay off (they are actually much, much darker) and it's a little blurry . . . Again, I wasn't keen on a full-fledged photo shoot given it was over 90 degrees today and we shot these outside trying to get some good light. And did I say these were WOOL mitts?
