Blurry and basic, but completed

I think I have mentioned that deadline knitting often sends my OCD into overload. For some reason that if a timeline is involved, I lose my mind and panic.

That being said, I have worked to overcome this phobia and have managed to complete a few projects that will be given away for Christmas. I think that was the key: getting them out of the way early.

Completed are two pair of Dashing fingerless mitts and a pair of worsted weight socks. Not complicated projects, by any means, but certainly utilitarian. Details are provided in the Finished Objects section.

This blogging daily thing is tough

I had a very productive day: at work and at knit group. I suspect one was in direct response to the other. Even though my workday was fruitful, it was stressful and I so needed a creative outlet. And that outlet was my knit group.

I completed two sets of Dashing mitts destined to be Christmas gifts. Thanks to my fair knit shoppe owner, I finished all four thumbs. . . which I had procrastinated doing as, darnit, I don't like knitting thumbs. (See, I told you in the headline that this blogging daily thing was hard, I have gone on a knitted thumb rant. . . Someone stop me!) Hoping to have some photos soon. . . do you have any idea how hard it is to photograph your hands?
