My plans for today? Well, if you have read anything I have posted over the past few days, you will probably have a good guess.
Today I am going to pretend we are snowed in, no hope of getting out. That means we are going to need to make cinnamon rolls, wear warm clothes, stay inside and keep warm. It means that we will blog and surf, knit and relax. We may even break out the Trivial Pursuit game and realize how stupid we areally are. It won't matter though, because we are snowed in, all alone and no one else will know.
Did I tell you we are loving this laptop?
Did I tell you that I love being able to watch television, converse with Cynical, pet the cat and surf all at the same time?
Did I tell you that I am making a hat for me, all me and I so love the yarn? (I love it so much that I want to marry it.)
Did I happen to mention that I am on vacation until January 2?
Did I tell you that my beloved Cynical hooked up the router all by himself and that it seems to be working every so well?
Did I tell you that all of our Christmas shopping is done, done, done and wrapped, wrapped, wrapped?
Did I tell you the cat got so cold that she sat on the floor vent, completely covering it?
Did I tell you that we got an amazing down alternative blanket that we love?
Did I tell you Cynical ordered an MP3 player and I am considering one? (Anyone got some input.)
Did I tell you that I have run out of things to say?
The photo at the top shows pure heaven. Note the remotes, the computer and the knitting. Is there a better combo? Photo below is of Izzie posing with my latest finished object. It's a 2 x 2 ribbed hat that is way to big for me. Alas, I am so disappointed, but it was a lesson learned. Made it out of Katia yarn in Color 5857.

I am so jealous that you get two weeks off. Enjoy it.
I love it that your cat hogs the heat vent when it's cold. That is one beautiful picture of him. Is the hat to keep him warm?
Don't be too jealous! At 8:17 a.m. on my first official day off, my mom called about a turkey and other nonsense. I have to get caller id.
Cate, Izzie, well, she's just cold natured. The hat was put on her because she let me do it. She'd do anything for a little warmth. Poor little thing.
You have just written about my dream vacation. Lord I need one so bad. I also want a laptop, really really badly. I am so jealous!!
Have a good Christmas
