I adopted two baby birds recently. I am not sure what kind they are, but I "felt" they needed a good home. I am not sure, however, how good a home can be to two tiny fowl with five cats sharing the same space.
I recently picked up the Peeps you see above at my local yarn shoppe. One of my knitting group pals takes old sweaters, felts them and creates these sweet, sweet little birds. I was instantly fascinated by them and had to take them "under my wing".
So, now they have a new home, complete with tiny nests to call their own. I have to be honest, they are the easiest pets to care for. They rarely, if ever, eat. No shedding. No messes. No noise. I haven't heard a "peep" out of them.
Proof that I really am part of Project Spectrum and have indeed created something out of pink or red.

I love the birds! How tweet! ;)
Is that the Wavy Scarf? I love it! It's so soft, and feminine, and lovely.
Congrates on the addition to the family. Im sure they you will give them a good home. Hope there faster than the cats. He he
I have a few sweaters that I have accidenly felted, and I was really sad to lose them.
I wish that I could have made them into something good!
Jenny from the Blog is going to love that scarf!
Is it possible to get punned to death?
Very pink, very lovely! And the peeps are adorable.
