Theme for the week: Random

Being as I have a lot on my mind, but nothing of any substance, I am just gonna share some randomness that is Ragged:

-It snowed. It really snowed. One of the latest snows in history for our area, but it did snow (just 3/4ths of an inch, but we are expecting more). And our comment, "Oh, to still be in school." They don't seem to call off work, do they?

-My swift came. I haven't even opened it yet because I got home late last night and the obsessive-compulsive in me wants to be able to have time to not only open it, but savor its goodness.

-I went to see "Babel" last night. Still reviewing in my mind. Anyone seen it?

-I did take a few minutes to take out the bind-off on my first Fetching fingerless mitt; just didn't see the point of the picot edge. Sad fact: At first I picked out part of the cast-on, just got myself turned around. This is why I shouldn't knit late at night.

-I am notoriously late for work, just by one or two minutes, but if it annoys my co-workers nearly as much as it bothers me, we have a problem. This morning I had to take Cynical to drop off his car for some oil changing and consideration; and then to work. I knew we'd be cutting it close and had resigned myself to the fact that I'd be slipping up the back stairwell hanging my head in shame. However, I ended up with time to spare: enough time in fact to nab a non-fat White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks. Happy for me. Happy for me.

-Have you noticed I upgraded Blogger? I like it in some ways, but am completely irked in others. I hate that the font won't stay consistent (spacing, paragraphs, size etc.) in posts including photographs. Ugh.
