When I was a kid, my parents would often send us to the A&P to pick up milk and bread. I'd always take a little of the change left over to raid the candy bin located near the cash register. I remember passing up the three-tone, neopolitan Brach's candy in favor of the butterscotch discs. Whenever I saw this yarn online, I had to have it. I searched online to no end, but happened to run across it at a local yarn shoppe, I snagged it.

You know, I was never crazy about that candy, but when you mention it I'll bet everyone in America knows exactly which one you're talking about. Cool sox!
I totally remember those candy bins. (my brother & I would sneak/steal candies whenever we had to go grocery shopping with my Mom) ** remember the orange slices covered with sugar??? yummmmmm.
At the risk of sounding off....I seriously want to lick that yarn!
I loooooooooooove that color combo.
I knit a cosmetic bag for a friend in those colors & had a hard time parting with it.
Fantastic socks and now seeing
yours the obsession has been passed to me ;)
As the ohsoperky Rachel Ray would say, Yum-O!!! Those are totally cool! Love the colors and the design they made. Whoo!!! This gives me an idea for a scrapbook layout.
Those are so awesome! They turned out scrumptious!
Wow! That yarn looks exactly like the candy. Now you'll have happy, sweet feet.
First, I never really liked that candy but I know just what you mean. They're perfect!
Second, your questions:
1. Was there one moment when you knew Cynical was the one for you?
2. You're organizing a benefit concert. You have five slots for bands/singers to fill and if they are invited they will perform. Who will you invite?
3. It's a beautiful day. You and Cynical are meeting for a picnic. Where do you meet, what do you eat?
4. If you were a dessert, what would you be?
5. The President of the United States comes to you and offers you any position in his administration (other than his), and you accept. What job do you choose?
Ha! All I saw was the word "Brachs" and the picture and memories of trips to the grocery store as a kid come flooding back to me.
