Can't stop now, must clear my desk, must pack my suitcase, must get instructions to cat-sitters, must find new sandals. . . .
Just wanted to stop by in the midst of pre-vacation frenzy to share a few tidbits with you and to let you know that we aren't dead, just lazy and vacation-driven:
-Cynical and I typically eat out on Friday night; but a beautiful, warm Friday afternoon gave us an opportunity to dine outside on a veranda overlooking the river. Afterward we visited a new coffee shoppe downtown and I think I may have found heaven on earth. Such great coffee, such a great feeling to the place and a courtyard. Move over public library, this is my new favorite place.
-Watched "Lars and the Real Girl" over the weekend and loved it, loved it, loved it. It's a quirky, quiet movie. Enough said, rent it at your own risk.
-Did I tell you that I am going to the Loopy Ewe in St. Louis as part of our vacation? I've been frantically selling old stash yarn on Ravelry to make cashola just for this stop.
-Still no sale on the house, but a little interest. I am putting the whole house selling business in a box and putting it away until we get back from vacation.
Ragged. Out.

I think "Lars and the Real Girl" is next on our Netflix list. Looking forward to it. Actually, I'm looking forward to some Ryan Gosling.
I'm so gonna have to watch that! Looks awesome.
have a great time on VaCa baby! Take lots of pics (duh). Wishing you great weather and smooth travels.
I'll have to try the "Lars" movie. I love quirky. I'll keep reading through your blogs--because you are sure to post a Loppy Ewe story. I can't wait to here about it.
