As nice as it is to go away. . . it feels so good to come home. After our last breakfast at the inn, we literally loaded down the car and made our way home. We did manage to squeeze in a stop for lunch and a visit to the Loopy Ewe. The latter will mean nothing to the non-knitters, but for those of you that do knit, you can understand our glee.
I had been saving my Paypal dollars and a gift certificate all in anticipation of the visit. Sheri and her staff were so helpful and ignored our squeals and gasps at all of the beautiful yarn. I managed to show some restraint and I achieved Loopy Groupie status. . . . don't hate, congratulate. I didn't have to learn a special handshake and confetti didn't fall from the sky, but I did enjoy my official crowning as I nabbed my tote and goodies.
Since we got home at a reasonable hour, we opted to head home, reluctantly leaving our travel companions. We needed to get home in preparation for a busy weekend and because our cat sitter had called exclaming that our pets had taken over the house. . . and we needed to restore order.
So, here we are. Mounds of laundry are sorted. Pictures are downloaded and I have tucked my suitcase back onto the shelf. The mail has been reviewed. I have even opened a few early birthday cards and gifts. And as nice as it is to be back home and into parts of our routine, I'm sad to say goodbye to our vacation. I'm sad to part from our fellow travelers.
A few shots of the Loopy Ewe just for Starstruck Cat.

I always believed Loopy Central existed, but I'm so glad you've confirmed it for me!
Heck I'm a non-knitter and I think I'd squeal at seeing the real live Loopy Ewe. Sounds like a really fun trip.
That Loopy Groupie thing looks really cool, they know how to do customer service!
