In the midst of my whining, there has been some knitting:
Simple Socks
Pattern: The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns by Ann Budd (The standard pattern I use.)
Yarn: Araucania Ranco Multy Color 310
Needles: Addis #1; Magic Loop Style
Started: October 22, 2008
Completed: November 16, 2008
Sometimes I just want something simple to knit; nothing to remember, no yarnovers to contend with, not much counting. I wanted to do some stockinette socks. And this yarn was perfect for that, nice color variation. Sweet little socks.

sigh, yes...simplicity.
: .)
love the color(s) too!
I have a bunch of varigated yarns...and I never know what to do with them. I am always drawn to the colors, but then struggle with finding a pattern that isn't too busy for them to work with.
I should just make some stockinette socks. I don't know why that hasn't occured to me sooner. Oh yeah, that's right, it's because I am scattered ;)
