Whenever things are tough, I tend to retreat. I succumb to my hermit tendencies. I often am even non-conversational at home. None of those things are helpful. In fact, retreating isn't healthy at all. I reached out a little this week to you guys and I want to thank you so very much for your kind comments. I have also been chatting online the past few days with a dear friend, perhaps the person that most accepts me, my idiosynchrasies and craziness, and it's been rewarding and very unexpected. It's those blessings that pull you out; the kind words, the empathy, the "you are not alone" feeling you get from good people.
And I thank you.
Inkling left a particularly moving link and for those of you that didn't read the comments on my last post, I wanted to share it with you here. I know the message moved me and reminded me of the real Christmas paradigm. So, visit The Advent Conspiracy.
