After heaving a very large bookcase down a narrow set of stairs, I started putting my CDs, in alphabetical order, onto said shelving. In the midst of packing them, they had gotten a tad out of order, so it wasn't quite as seamless a task as I expected.
Cynical and I further attempted to weed down our CDs, eliminating some of the duplicates. I am not sure what it says about us as a couple, but we didn't have many; those we did have multiples of included Natalie Merchant, Hootie & The Blowfish, No Doubt, Dixie Chicks and REM. Never fear, I didn't have any K's Choice, Pink or Tori in my collection. He didn't have any Barry Manilow, Ben Harper or Cowboy Junkies.
While in organizing heaven, I listened to a little Natalie. Saw her at Lillith Fair many years ago and was in pure heaven as she sat in a huge swing and sang. I've been accused of attempting to dance much like her, waving my arms as if I was sitting in the passenger seat of a car and letting my hand ride the air current. Here's one for ya:

One of my all time favorites. She's so amazingly talented. Does it surprise you that I went to Lillith Fair, too? Maybe we've chatted about that already. I went all 3 years. Wasn't it awesome? Unfortunately, Natalie wasn't part of the venue I saw. :( I wish they'd do another. I guess Sarah is happily doing the family thing now.
