Wednesday is the best day of the week

Or at least this Wednesday was.

My day didn't begin well, but I was certainly showered with reasons to be thankful as the hours passed and just to prove that I am not always Oscar the Grouch's cousin, Ragged the Cranky, here is a little summary.

First and foremost, I finished the knitting of the bag. Not only am I finished, but I had a little mess-up and managed to fix it with some deductive reasoning and I even got a nod of approval from Needlefingers on my reasoning. Now that's a stamp of approval!

I had feared my charm bracelet was missing, lost, no longer mine. Alas, Pilot and Needlefingers launched a search party and came up with my bracelet as bounty. Thanks, guys.

I also got in good knitting chatter with Needlefingers when she talked me off the ledge as I worried about my booga bag. As my nephew would say, "Thanks, man!"

Cynical also boycotted his evening job and we stole away for Mexican food and a Wal-Mart run. Who doesn't enjoy good conversation and chips and salsa? No one, I tell you. No one can be unhappy when salsa is involved.

Oh, and there is a yarn shop about 12 miles away from my house. I may have found my new Mecca, sorry Target.

What you do is pick a band/musical artist. Fill their name in the first blank. Then answer each question using one of that bands' song titles. So fun. In a totally uncool way.

Name of the Band/Performer: Counting Crows
Are you male or female? american girls
Describe yourself? i wish i was a girl
How do some people feel about you? good time
How do you feel about yourself? colorblind
Describe an ex boy friend or girlfriend: monkey
Describe your current boyfriend or girlfriend:(husband) einstein on the beach
Describe where you want to be: round here
Describe how you live: hanginaround
Describe how you love: time and time again
Share a few words of wisdom: accidentally in love

You should do this if you feel like it...you'd be good at it.

P.S. Yesterday was a more tolerable Wednesday...but Wednesday stinks, generally speaking.

Oooh, that may take me a while, but a very cool challenge.

Wednesdays are usually no fun for me, so this one had to be noted.
